Style Connect ("we," "us," or "our") is a personal styling app operated by Rhonda Michelle. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. We have written this in plain language because you deserve to understand exactly how your data is handled.

1. What We Collect

When you use Style Connect, we may collect the following information:

Account information: Your name and email address when you create an account.
Style profile data: Answers you provide during onboarding, such as your Kibbe body type, colour season, essence, and style goals. This information is used solely to personalise your experience.
Wardrobe items: Clothing items you choose to log in your wardrobe, including names, categories, and colours.
Photos: If you use the Photo Scan feature, you upload a photo for AI analysis. Photos are analysed in real time and are never stored on our servers. The image is sent directly to Anthropic's API for analysis and discarded immediately after.
Booking information: Service bookings you make through the app.
Usage data: Basic usage logs, such as how many AI requests you make per day (used to enforce fair-use limits).

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide personalised style recommendations and wardrobe advice.
To power AI-generated outfit suggestions and gap analysis.
To manage your bookings with Rhonda Michelle.
To enforce fair-use daily limits on AI requests (maximum 20 per day).
To improve the app and diagnose technical issues.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. AI Processing and Third Parties

Style Connect uses Anthropic's Claude AI to power styling recommendations, outfit suggestions, and photo analysis. When you make an AI request, your style profile context and (for Photo Scan) your uploaded image are sent to Anthropic's API. Anthropic processes this data in accordance with their privacy policy. Photos are not retained beyond the instant of analysis.

We do not share your data with any other third parties except as required by law.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your style profile, wardrobe data, and account information are stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted on Replit's infrastructure. We use reasonable technical measures to protect your data from unauthorised access. However, no system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your Rights and Choices

Access and correction: You can view and update your style profile at any time within the app.
Deletion: To delete your account and all associated data, email styleconnect@stylebyrhondamichelle.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request." We will process your request within 30 days.
Data export: To request a copy of your data, contact us at the email above.

6. Children's Privacy

Style Connect is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
